Violent Crimes / Homicide

Homicide cases are some of the most serious and complex cases. First Degree Murder in Colorado carries a mandatory life sentence without the possibility of parole. First Degree Murder can be charged as an Intentional/Deliberate crime, under a theory of “Extreme Indifference” or “the Felony Murder Rule.” There are lesser forms of Homicide (Negligent or Reckless homicides) that can carry a sentence less than life, but generally, most homicide cases that result in a conviction, even if they might not mandate prison, usually result in jail or prison sentences.

These are some of the most difficult cases that absolutely require an effective advocate who has extensive experience and specialized knowledge in defending these sorts of allegations.
